Samantha Carter, MS, RD, LD
- Samantha has worked in many clinical areas of nutrition including inpatient hospital care, outpatient diabetes, and renal/dialysis.
- Samantha also writes articles for Davita Kidney Diet blog that provides nutrition tips and education for individuals with chronic kidney disease.
Samantha started her career as an acute care dietitian in 2012. She has gained experience in many different disease states including diabetes, oncology, renal disease, and liver disease.
In 2017, Samantha found a passion in renal disease/dialysis and started a new career with Davita Kidney Care.
Samantha earned her master’s degree in nutrition from Louisiana Tech University, where she also completed her accredited dietetic internship.
Her internship gave her in-depth experience in clinical dietetics, community nutrition, nutrition research, and food service systems. She earned her registered dietitian credential (RD/RDN) in 2012.
