Education and Training
Emily received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from University of Illinois at Chicago, where she also completed her dietetic internship. Emily is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Health Communications from Boston University.
Before her career in the food industry, Emily worked in a hospital as a clinical dietitian where she specialized in nutrition support for critically ill patients. She then went on to gain experience in outpatient counseling and community health as a retail dietitian. Emily is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
