A recent study reveals that white wine is also very healthy as red wine. It is equally as healthy as red for a healthy heart. A recent study on rats show that the rats that were given white wine to drink suffered very less heart attacks whereas the rats that were given only raw water and alcohol to drink suffered much heart attacks.
Also, those given red wine show the same results as compared to those animals who were given white wine.
Red wine and white wine contain resveratrol which protects from diseases like heart attacks and cancer. It is found that French people who eat a lot of fats do not suffer from quality life.
Rats were given measured doses of each red and white wine, in a study made by Deepak Das who is a molecular biologist from the University of Connecticut in Farmington, US. The amount given was one to two glasses every day. Other animals were given polyphenols and alcohol. It was found that rats that were given red and white wine suffered very less heart attacks as compared to those given alcohol and polyphenols. A magazine reported.
This is because white wine sheltered mitochondria in heart cells. Wine protected these mitochondria. According to Deepak Das who is a molecular biologist from the University of Connecticut in Farmington, US, one or two glasses of wine do the same as the red wine does for our body. And also the flesh and skin of grapes are equally important for our body.
