Zenostim

Zenostim Overview

Sakaii Research Inc. launched Zenostim as a “Non-Stimulant Diet Aid” in April of 2a006. Steve Lebo of Sakaii Research calls the product “the most complete weight loss aid on the market.” Zenostim does indeed contain many ingredients, including Hoodia Gordonii. Hoodia gained popularity after appearing on “60 Minutes” and in O Magazine. Other media outlets quickly followed suit, and scientific skepticism has not stopped Hoodia from becoming the hottest weight-loss trend. Hoodia Gordonii is expensive and difficult to obtain. Many “Hoodia” products do not contain real Hoodia, and Sakaii Research offers no certification of Hoodia authenticity.Neither Sakaii Research nor Zenostim appears to have an official website. While vendors do supply information about Zenostim, that information may be unreliable. Because the product does not have an official website, no added inducements such as money-back guarantees are offered.

Zenostim – Product Description

ZenostimZenostim contains Hoodia Gordonii, an appetite suppressant. It is derived from a South African plant known for treating indigestion and infection. Additional folklore adds that it is used as an appetite suppressant for South Africans on long hunting trips. Hoodia has been shown effective in clinical trials. However, scientists believe there is not sufficient evidence to prove that Hoodia Gordonii is actually an appetite suppressant when used by humans. The most convincing studies were conducted with rats.Another of Zenostim’s many ingredients is chromium, which increases the activity of insulin, a hormone involved in metabolism. Zenostim contains two of the eight B vitamins, which are responsible for cell metabolism. L-Carnitine is a lipotropic (or fat burner) that has had mixed results in clinical trials. Rhodiola rosea is grown in cold regions of the world and is said to have mood-enhancing properties. There is scientific evidence that rhodiola rosea can help depression. CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) supplement originates in safflower oil. The supplement works by targeting lipoprotein lipases (LPL), the enzyme that aids the body in its conversion of excess calories to fat. Therefore, a person’s overall fat content should decrease, and their muscle content should increase. While this process will also increase metabolism, studies maintain that taking that CLA does not cause unwanted jittery side effects.Zenostim also contains EGCG, 7-keto, choline, inositol, vanadium, and calcium.

Zenostim Advantage

  • Zenostim contains Hoodia Gordonii.
  • Zenostim does not contain any stimulants.

Zenostim – Drawbacks

  • The Food and Drug Administration has not investigated the product claims.
  • Zenostim is expensive at $89 for one bottle.
  • There is no official product website.
  • The parent company does not offer a money-back guarantee.

Zenostim – The Bottom Line

Zenostim does not contain any stimulants, which may be tempting to dieters wary of side effects such as jitteriness and sleeplessness. Moreover, this product contains some promising ingredients such as chromium and Hoodia Gordonii. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that Zenostim contains real Hoodia, which is expensive and difficult to obtain. Moreover it is hard to put trust into a company or product that offers so little information. All that Sakaii Research provides is a press release from two years ago. Zenostim is also very expensive. Customers should look elsewhere for stimulant-free weight-loss supplements.
