Slendex is a weight loss pill that has become extremely popular in the U.K. and enjoyed some favorable press and celebrity endorsements. It is marketed as an all-natural caffeine free product that suppresses the appetite and allows dieters to ‘stay in control’ of what they eat. The official company website is very clean and attractive with the standard features found on other product sites. The company have one section devoted to the press that has featured the Slendex pill, and does in fact show the actual magazine articles mentioned. The product was heavily endorsed by a British soap opera actress who used the pill to regain her figure after having children.The website has a good testimonial section, including some before and after shots and judging from the comments, the average weight loss to be expected with Slendex is about 10-14lbs a month. Strangely, one of the testimonials is given by a woman with the same name as the owner of the Slendex company, Jane McCadden, which obviously takes away from it’s credibility somewhat.The company also offers a ‘Gold Membership’ which entitles the customer to 20% off Slendex year-round, a healthy eating/ recipe DVD and a dieting book, ‘Drop a Dress Size’. However, it does not mention how to become a Gold Member and whether or not it involves signing any long-term contract etc.

They are listed, but no amounts or explanations are given.Each capsule contains Methyl Cellulose, Vegetable shell, L-Carnitine, Magnesium Stearate and Chromium Picolante. It is likely that none of these ingredients would be familiar to many people except for the Chromium Picolante which is known to regulate blood sugar levels and decrease cravings. Methyl Cellulose is a substance that is employed for a variety of purposes and is used here as a bulking agent.An independent website also lists Bladderwrack, Dandelion and Boldo extract as being included in Slendex, a fact that, for whatever reason, the company decided not to disclose.

Slendex - The Bottom Line
Considering the popularity of Slendex in Britain, it is amazing that the company does not disclose more information about the ingredients. Despite this, Slendex would be a good choice for any consumer who wished to avoid diet pills containing caffeine or the stimulant Guarana. The pills are not overly expensive, costing approximately $55.00 for a one month supply. However, with so many similar products already available in the U.S., it is not likely that a North American customer would want to pay extra shipping fees simply to get a bottle sent from the U.K.
