Metabolift Overview
Despite generally good reviews by online independent consumers, there is very little information to be found regarding Metabolift. It appears to be targeted at women in particular and is featured mainly on body building web sites. The product is manufactured by Twin Labs, which seems to have a good reputation in the industry. Twin Labs does have a website, but again, the information given about their product is very sketchy. In fact, apart from a brief list of ingredients, the only information the consumer is given is that Metabolift enabled one customer to lose 52 lbs, but does not go on to say anything else such as how long it took etc.
Metabolift - Product Description
Most of the ingredient information on Metabolift can be found through various retail and diet pill review sites. Metabolift helps to increase the body’s fat burning ability by using Guarana seed extract, a caffeine containing substance. It also contains L-Phenylanine, an amino acid known to elevate the mood and suppress the appetite, Ginger root and Cayenne, which benefit the digestion and circulation, and a patented Chromium Picolante containing formula called Chromic Fuel. Metabolift is to be taken 3 times a day: 2 capsules before breakfast, 2 in the mid-afternoon and 2 before the evening meal.

Metabolift - The Bottom Line
Although it does contain some reasonably good fat burning and appetite suppressing ingredients, too little is known about Metabolift to comfortably recommend it. There is no reason as to why it is marketed directly at women either, as it does not seem to contain any ingredient that particularly benefit women in terms of weight loss. One positive aspect of Metabolift is that it has removed Ma Huang from its formula. This is likely due to the fact that Ma Huang had the potential to cause adverse and dangerous reactions similar to the banned substance Ephedra. However, despite this, and the positive reviews it has received, some consumers have reported certain side effects such as insomnia and diarrhoea.
