Lipitone
Lipitone Overview
Lipitone is marketed as an ‘advanced’ weight loss pill that works primarily as a fat blocker.
There are a number of fat-blocking products available on the market which often cause some unpleasant side-effects. Lipitone claims not only to have no side-effects but also provides a chart comparing it to Alli and Chitosan, its two main competitors.Unfortunately, the Lipitone website fails to provide any useful information about their product. The site is one single page which includes a handful of very anonymous testimonials but no FAQ section. There isn’t even a lot of information to be found elsewhere on the internet, and no independent consumer reviews, despite the company stating that Lipitone is the #1 selling weight loss formula.
The website does feature some details on exactly how Lipitone works to block fat (up to 28%) and cut carbohydrates, and shows two news media quotes extolling the benefits of two of the main Lipitone ingredients, brown seaweed and vitamin B12. The remainder of the site however is devoted to detailing the free trial offer which includes a bonus e-book “10 secrets to fat loss’.
Lipitone – Product Description
Although the Lipitone website does not include much information about the ingredients in the product, details can be gleaned from retail sites, some of which also show a FAQ section and product label.
It appears that the major ingredient in Lipitone is the patented substance NeOpuntia. A cactus fiber that binds with fat molecules, it essentially whisks them through the body before they can be absorbed. The remaining ingredients are contained in a proprietary blend that includes the seaweed extract ID-alG, which is responsible for blocking carbs, apple pectin, and two fibers, beet and oat. Because these are in the proprietary blend, the exact amounts are not known.
Lipitone is to be taken up between 15-60 minutes after the users last meal, although up to two additional capsules can be taken anytime after a particularly fatty meal.

Lipitone – The Bottom Line
When a product claims to be the number one selling product, one would expect there to be more of a ‘buzz’ about it on the internet, which is not the case with Lipitone.
The only real advantage of this product over its competitors is the fact that it can be taken up to an hour after eating, that extra capsules can be taken when required and that the company offers a free 14-day trial. However, because no ‘terms and conditions’ are shown, customers should be aware that, like many similar offers, by taking advantage of the free trial, they may be enrolled into the auto-shipping (and billing) program without permission.
