Evercleanse Overview
The Evercleanse brand of colon cleanser and detoxifier will be familiar to many people due to their frequent radio commercials. In these commercials, which can also be played on the official Evercleanse website, the voiceover likens the body’s built-up waste to ’spackle or plaster’ that is stuck to the intestine. By eliminating the waste, the company claims the user can not only feel refreshed and ‘lighter’ but also lose the stubborn weight that refuses to budge, despite diet or exercise.
The Evercleanse website is very ‘clean’ looking, using bright graphics and clearly labelled sections. However, it doesn’t really contain much information about the product particularly in terms of usage and ingredients. It does supply a testimonials section which is not accompanied by before and after shots, and there is also a very brief FAQ section. As with many products of this kind, a large amount of the website is devoted to the ordering process.
There is some information regarding why a consumer should use a cleansing product and the health benefits from detoxifying the body, but nothing is backed up by medical evidence nor are there any clinical studies shown regarding the effectiveness of Evercleanse.
Evercleanse - Product Description
Unfortunately, the information on the Evercleanse formulas is very sparse and, although the product labels are shown, no full explanations are given as to the exact ingredients, which appear to be simply fiber and carbohydrates in the cleansing formula and probiotics in the ‘replenishing’ blend.
As the website explains, Evercleanse is a three-step process. The first step (The Clean Sweep) is designed to cleanse the system, removing built-up waste and promoting regular bowel movements. The second, Replenish, adds healthy bacteria back into the body which in turn helps the digestion and absorption of vital nutrients. Lastly is the colon maintenance support program, a high-fiber formula containing flaxseed and colostrums that obviously helps keep the intestinal tract healthy and free of waste.
Unfortunately, no directions are given as to how the different formulas should be taken, although it appears that the ‘Clean Sweep’ is in the form of a powder that can be added to food and water, while the ‘Replenish’ is a capsule. No further information is given about the last step.

Evercleanse - The Bottom Line
Although there may be some connection between built-up waste in the system and weight loss, there is not enough evidence to justify spending any money on a product like Evercleanse. There are simply way too many consumer complaints reported against the company to be able to recommend this product, however legitimate the radio commercials make it seem.
