Emagrece Sim Overview

Emagrece Sim is a diet system that is known more familiarly as the ‘Brazilian diet pill’. The name, translated means ‘yes to make thin’, which after all, is the aim of the supplement. The Emagrece Sim website is very colorful and attractive and features a video commercial of the product, explaining how Brazilians have long been known for their slender, toned bodies. The website also features some news program logos and states that it was featured on the Today show, but offers no further information. The company behind the product, Brazilian Basics, boast that they received the award for the ‘Best Natural Health Company’ in 2007. This does seem quite impressive until you realize that it was only awarded by the Miami Sun Post, which will not mean much to most people anyway. The commercial that is played on the site features testimonials from customers who claim to have had success with Emagrece Sim, although none of them really refer to how long it took for them to lose their excess weight.

Emagrece Sim - Product Description

Emagrece SimEmagrece Sim contains ingredients that are apparently mostly Brazilian herbs so the names are unlikely to be familiar to many consumers. There are two parts to the system, the first part being designed to cleanse and detoxify the body in preparation for weight loss. It contains many liver cleansers and digestion aids such as Carqueja, Jurubeba, Abuta and Psyllium (a common ingredient in many detox formulas). It also contains magnesium, a known laxative which they say will improve ‘bowel function’.The second part of the system is for boosting the metabolism and increasing energy and uses a mixture of appetite suppressants such as the Brazilian herb Cha De Burgre and Yerba Mate to regulate and balance blood sugar levels. The other two ingredients in this formula are Damiana which has diuretic properties and Guarana, which the company claims can fight obesity and cellulite. The website does not give an adequate explanation of exactly how the capsules should be taken and for how long etc. However, it is known that part 1 (yellow capsules) are best taken before bed whilst part two (blue capsules) are to be taken an hour before lunch and dinner.

Emagrece Sim Advantage

  • The company website is attractive and user-friendly.
  • Although no product label is shown, a thorough explanation of the ingredients is included on the site.
  • The company offer a free trial offer, plus a free booklet ‘the Rio Weight Loss Guide’.
  • There website shows video testimonials.
  • The ingredients are 100% safe and natural.

Emagrece Sim Drawbacks

  • The company was banned from selling a previous form of Emagrece Sim as it contained potentially dangerous ingredients.
  • The product has not received favourable reviews on independent dieting websites.
  • The product focuses more on detoxification rather than weight loss.
  • Cha De Burgre is not as effective for suppressing the appetite as the better known Hoodia Gordonii.
  • The ‘Brazilian’ dieting secret seems to be simply a gimmick, with no clinical trials to back it up.
  • The product is very expensive at a cost of $99.95 for a one month supply.

Emagrece Sim - The Bottom Line

Although Emagrece Sim does contain ingredients not found in many other diet pills, there is no evidence to show that they are any more effective. There is no doubt that some of the ingredients in both formulas will work, it’s just that any weight lost will more likely be due to the laxative and diuretic effects as opposed to burning fat. In terms of suppressing the appetite, any consumer would be advised to opt for a product containing Hoodia Gordonii, a more popular and widely used ingredient.
