Anatrim Overview

Everything about Anatrim seems suspicious; the way it is marketed, the wording on the website and the lack of information about the product are just a few examples.First of all, it is only after intensive searching on the internet that the ‘official’ Anatrim website can be found. More easily found, however are the numerous sites warning against the use of Anatrim and stating that it is nothing but a scam and should be avoided at all costs. Any product that has to resort to e-mail ‘spamming’ as a form of marketing (i.e. sending unsolicited messages to consumers) is obviously not from a reputable company, as is the case with Anatrim. It is not known where the product is made or who the manufacturers are, though it has been noted that the company’s domain name is registered in numerous countries, including Russia and the U.K. The actual website promoting Anatrim is so badly written that it is actually quite humorous. The company claims that their product is ‘the most powerful fat loss blend available anywhere’ and use logos from news programs such as the BBC, CNN and 60 minutes, giving the impression that they are endorsing the Anatrim product. The website does contain a FAQ section and testimonials, but, again, they are written in such an unprofessional way that it is impossible to take them seriously.

Anatrim - Product Description

AnatrimThe main ingredient in Anatrim is something the company call Anatrim Gordonii. It is assumed that they are referring to Hoodia Gordonii (the appetite suppressant that was featured on the news shows cited above) as there is no actual plant called Anatrim Gordonii. It would be easy to pass this off as a typo if it wasn’t for the fact that the same ingredient is mentioned later on the site! Other ingredients in Anatrim are garcini cambogia (aids in fatty acid synthesis), green tea extract, dandelion (a diuretic), spirulina (an algae high in protein) and ginger root. All these ingredients are natural and would certainly cause no undue reactions for the user, though they likely do not produce the amazing weight loss results promised by the company. It is recommended that 1-2 capsules are taken about one hour before meals and consumed with water (or as the website unhelpfully states, ‘a big large glass is what’s needed’). They also say that an extra capsule can be taken at bedtime to ward off any late night snacking. However, the green tea in the product likely contains caffeine, so this might not be a good idea.

Anatrim Advantage

  • The ingredients listed are all natural.
  • If, in fact, Hoodia Gordonii is included, Anatrim would be an effective appetite suppressant.

Anatrim Drawbacks

  • The product is marketed illegally through unsolicited e-mail spam.
  • Nothing is known about the manufacturers of Anatrim.
  • The company website is badly written and unprofessional.
  • The company make some exaggerated claims about their product.
  • There are numerous warnings on the internet regarding Anatrim.
  • No good reviews can be found on independent dieting websites.
  • The product is expensive, costing $99.95 for a one month supply.

Anatrim - The Bottomline

It is extremely unlikely that any sane consumer would buy this product. Not only is it expensive but absolutely nothing is known about its origins and safety. There are so many alternative products containing Hoodia Gordonii that are available from far more reputable companies, there is really no reason to even consider buying this product.
