Thermocerin
Thermocerin Overview
Thermocerin is a product manufactured by Nutritional Science Labs, makers of a number of other weight loss pills on the market. It promises results by increasing the thermogenic ability of the body, i.e. increasing heat to burn fat faster and more efficiently. There are other products available that work on the same premise, but the makers of Thermocerin claim that theirs is different, partly due to the fact that it contains safer levels of caffeine. The official company website really no different to many others and offers a FAQ section, which answers questions mainly about the ordering process and very little on the product itself and a testimonial section, complete with before and after shots. Thermocerin is another company that gives their customers the chance to appear as a spokesperson for the product, and offers $250.00 if chosen. In fact, the small print under the testimonial shots states that the customers were renumerated, which casts some doubt on how genuine they really are.The website employs sales tactics seen on other sites, such as using news program logos and magazine covers to give the impression that the product has been featured in, or endorsed by these companies. Thermocerin goes even further by placing testimonial comments right next to the logos, thereby reinforcing this idea.
Thermocerin - Product Description
Thermocerin does a reasonable job of explaining the ingredients it uses in the thermogenic formula and does show the actual product label. However, as with all proprietary blends, the individual amounts are not actually shown so it is impossible to know how effective it will be.Thermocerin uses two types of tea, Green and White, which are both good sources of anti-oxidants and have been found to have a significant effect on increasing the rate that body fat is burned. The company claim that White tea is actually more potent than Green, although no studies are shown to back this up. Two other ingredients in Thermocerin are caffeine, which obviously raises the metabolism, increases energy and burns fat, and Capsaicin. This is an ingredient not often seen in weight loss pills and could well have a thermogenic effect due to the fact it is derived from hot peppers. Again though, no evidence is shown by the company to support this. The capsules are designed to be taken after meals, 3 times a day. A 90 capsule bottle should last for one month and costs $59.00.
Thermocerin Advantage
- The website for Thermocerin is easily navigated, written in straightforward language and reasonably informative.
- The product benefits from the addition of White tea and Capsaicin.
- The product is available for a 30-day free trial.
- Before and after shots are pictured in the testimonial section.
Thermocerin - Drawbacks
- By taking advantage of the free trial the customer is signed up for the autoship program, something most consumers prefer not to do.
- The claims of a 30lb weight loss in 30 days is exaggerated and not professionally recommended.
- There have been generally bad reviews of Thermocerin elsewhere online.
- The unauthorized use of media company logos on the site is an underhand sales tactic.
- Nutritional Science Labs do not have a good track record in the industry.
Thermocerin - The Bottom Line
Independent reviews of Thermocerin have been mixed. The common complaint seems to be that the customer is automatically signed up for the autoship program and it is extremely hard to cancel after the fact. In terms of effectiveness, at best Thermocerin seems to increase energy levels, but it certainly does not cause the rapid weight loss as promised. However, unlike some harsher products, the consumer should feel comfortable about taking the product and trying it out for themselves.
