Abs Diet
Abs Diet Overview
The Abs Diet is presented by the popular ‘Men’s Health’ magazine and was co-authored by their publications Editor in Chief, David Zinczenko.
The Abs diet is designed specifically for men, and, as the name suggests, focuses on losing weight around the mid-section. However, the program also addresses all aspects of diet and exercise and gives the user the tools needed to develop and maintain a good level of fitness in the long term.
The Abs Diet has a very stylish website with links to FAQ’s, expert endorsements (including actor The Rock and the nutritionist for the New York Giants), a list of the top ten benefits of being on the diet and a chart of the 12 recommended ‘superfoods’.
Although the website is full of information, some of the links are hard to follow, leading the user to the same page, whilst others simply link to information on the ‘Men’s Health’ official site. There is also no clear indication regarding which form of the diet plan is the definitive one as it is presented in a book, on DVD and by subscribing online. Judging from the reviews however, it seems that the original book is the most popular.
Abs Diet Product Description
The Abs Diet book has been on the market for a number of years, with the original being available for sale, often at discount prices, from online retailers such as Amazon and Barnes and Noble. The Abs Diet website sells the new, updated and expanded version of the book, which is only available directly from the publishers. The Abs Diet is designed to be a 6-week plan that includes 30 minutes of exercise three times a week plus 6 meals a day that include the 12 superfoods recommended by the author. In addition to these foods, the book (and the website) outlines which foods should be avoided, which can be enjoyed occasionally and which should be eaten daily. The diet plan does not exclude any one food group and the recipes and meal recommendations include a healthy balance of carbohydrates, good fats and protein.
The Abs Diet book is offered on the website at a cost of 4 instalments of $7.99. There is also a separate Nutritional Guide book available for 4 instalments of $5.99. Both books are offered for a 21-day free trial (although at the time of writing, the link to further information regarding the offer did not work), and both items have a 100% lifetime guarantee.

Abs Diet – The Bottom Line
With so many diet books available it is always good to see one that has actually been successful for past customers. One of the reasons for its’ success is likely due to the fact that it is not a ‘fad’ diet and does not restrict the dieter, something which will often end in cravings, over-eating and ultimate failure. Whether or not the dieter will develop ‘abs of steel’ is debatable, but it is very likely that they will end up with improved eating and exercise habits.
